What years are the cars in question? What engines? You said 9-3 Aero with 75k, so I'm guessing its the v6 rather than the 2.0, and I'm assuming the 9-5 is the 2.3
The 2.3 has been around for a long, long time and has proven to be a reliable motor. You could argue either way on the chassis dynamics between the 9-3 and 9-5, though having driven both a 9-5 aero and my wife's 08 9-3 aero, I'd have to give a slight advantage to the 9-3 in terms of sportiness. I do prefer the ride of the 9-5 on a long commute though, and I prefer the 2.3 over the 2.8; generally better mileage without any measurable power deficiency.
Turbochargers, clutches, and general longevity really come down to maintenance. Get the service history for both cars - how often was the oil changed? What oil was used (a synthetic 0w-40 or 5w-40 would be ideal). The later 9-3's seem to have ironed out most of the issues with the earlier cars, and the 9-5's been around for 13 years now.
