Couple of questions on wheel bearing replacement Posted by davids [Email] (#1993) [Profile/Gallery] (more from davids) on Wed, 16 Nov 2011 10:24:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am going to replace my front bearing/hub assemblies. on the web i saw that some have used a socket with an extension to remove the top e18 bolt holding the hub. I tried to do this but i have napa sockets and the e18 is too thick of a wall to let it reach the bolt. what brand socket has a wall thin enough to engage the bolt? I looked on the wis and the other option is disconnecting the ball joint. they say wedge a block between the control arm and sway bar but i cant see how or where to wedge it. I am too dense to figure this one out so any input on this procedure would be great thanks...
