Windshield washer leak

After filling the winshild washer fluid right to the filler neck, washer fluid poured out from the bottom in the wheel well. However, the washer still works. Is there a leak somewhere in the container or at the filler neck? My Indy told me the parts price for the conatiner is $160! Did anyone experienced something like this before? It only started leaking after the Xenon bulb was replaced a few weeks ago. Any advice appreciated.
