Not to beat the horse, however in your cross referencing did you notice the GM list price is actually HIGHER than Saab list?
pn12622410 Thermostat Kit
GM $56.82
Saab $51.14
This is also the case for the GM EcoTech waterpump assembly.
pn12630084
GM $256.36
Saab $128.13
My Saab/GM dealer last time sent me a GM/Delco pump that they had on the shelf rather than ordering one from Saab. It was twice the price. Returned it and had them order from Saab USA.
Rarely do I ever order a part now and think, wow that was actually cheap or for what it was. The good bit of profit on a vehicle is made in parts over its lifetime service, not on the initial sale of the vehicle.
