When I did the 60K service on my wife's 2008 aero and looked at the three back plugs I said: "Oh Sh..." Broke the ceramic off the plug closest to the expansion tank as I was tightening it up and had to go to dealer for another one...$20 ..Ouch!. I can't wait to do the thermostat/housing and the plugs again at 120K..I think i will replace the ignition coils at 120K also. Had a "skip" at 91K and needed to reset, so I am hoping the coils make to 120K, so I can replace all at same time...engine runs awesome, but hot!. Re-routed the turbo return to coolant tank through an oil cooler to drop the temp..coolant tank was replaced twice, expansion tank cap replaced, etc.., software timing to run fans longer done , all under warrantee, did not fix coolant smell..put in dexcool die and black light search, no leaks....now, with oil cooler loop back to tank, inlet temp to tank is 40F lower. (about same temp now as line from engine (checked w/Fluke laser temp reading)..solved about 90% problem...the massive B284 turbo is a massive "glow plug"...:)
