On the MCC, simply remove the lower plastic shield. You will be able to see the two wire harness which runs from the rectangular resistor pack to the bottom of the MCC fan. Simply set fan speed to 5, and check for 12v at the end of the harness which plugs into fan. If you have 12v, your fan is dead. Good news, the MCC fan is cheaper than ACC; Bad news both resistor packs are expensive. I see far more defective fans than resistors. Check to ensure the seal for the cabin air filter mounting frame is good. Here in FL the seal fails and allows rain water to enter the blower motor causing premature failure.
