With Anders, I also recommend clients have the manual trans fluid at least every 60k miles during the major scheduled service at minimum. Best case is every 30k. I will sometimes make specific recommendations from what the fluid condition is and how much metal is found on the drain plug magnet if the trans has one (same goes for auto trans).
The procedure for the 6spd manual trans is pretty simple unlike the 6-spd auto. Your 6spd also has a vertical drain plug (8mm) which is easy to access. The 5-spd transmission drain plugs are horizontal right up beside the subframe which limits access. Most 6-spd manual transmission drain plugs also do not have a magnet to grab debris in the transmission. I usually order magnets from a OG9-3 auto trans to add to the manual trans plugs to help with longevity. The drain and refill oil quantity for your 6spd is 2.2L.
Had a newer client with an 07 9-3 SC with the 6spd come in yesterday with 105k. In an email follow up, he commented that the transmission now feels smoother during shifts.
Well worth the $150.
