Greetings,

I have a 2004 9-3 Aero with about 52K miles. Recently the following symptoms have been happening

1. small vibration felt mostly through the steering wheel. Vibration can be felt when the car is stationary as well as moving

2. what seems to be a more pronounced drone in the 2k-3k RPM range. can be reproduced with the car stationary or moving

Given the above it seems to me to be something related to the engine and not the wheels or their related parts.

Any suggestions on what to look at first?
