I have an 03SS which I've owned since new and have 160,000miles.
Fuel Gauge - Methanol wreaks havoc on the sending unit. I live in Canada, I took a road trip though the US last year, after 2500 miles, the methanol in the US fuel destroyed my sending unit - always shows empty. Only thing to do is replace the sending unit. This requires tank to be dropped. Sending unit not expensive, but labour is.
Washer pump - apparently the ground wire corrodes. So should be an easy fix. I had the same issue.
Blower motor - bearings self destruct after a while. Or it may be the resistor - apparently they go too. I changed both when my blower motor went. You need to make sure the seal around the cabin air filter housing is good. If the seal goes bad (they eventually rot out), then water can get into the HVAC system. Where the blower motor is positioned, water can get into it. and destroy the bearings. If you pull the cabin air filter housing out, and the seal is rotted, just go to your local home improvement store, buy some self adhesive EDPM weatherstrip that approximates the same size, scrape off the old and replace the new. If you need to replace the blower motor, then a good part of the dash and console needs to come out. Not fun, but if you're mechanically inclined and patient it's doable. You will need a shop manual.
I recommend going on Ebay and picking up a CD shop manual. It gives you step by step what to do. It's called WIS, and probably costs 20bucks.
I've lived with this car since new, so I know the issues. A few more things to watch out for : window regulators, lock solenoids, and key fobs disintegrate.
