I'm having the same problem with the leather separating from the wheel on my 2006 Aero convertible. Has anyone had success in removing and reinstalling the silver trim to facilitate recovering the wheel with new leather? just curious, because even the leather that hasn't pulled loose is pretty worn. How would that trim come loose, and could it be removed and reinstalled without breaking it?
