More, I know for a fact that Saabs like a new battery each 2 or 3 years, even here in Montreal. The 9-5 had 5 batteries since it left Trollhättan in November 2000. It had the OEM, 2 Delcos, 1 Moll, and the last one is a Bosch. All were vented to the outside.
But my question was : Was there a duct originaly on my Canadian Aero ? I don't see any trace of the mounting bolts on the steel transverse beam, so I guess my car came without the ducts, probably for winter reasons.
Is there a duct on the USA cars ?
