Ok, thanks Justin. I see now that this tensioner is very hard to get to. Would it be easier to just replaced the pulley/bearing from the tensioner in situ ? Is it doable ? I'm more concerned of a bearing failure that could involve a seizure and destruction of some parts of the belt drive.
As I understand it, a spring tensioner would develop a noisy behavior when old, so I guess it's not that urgent to replace it now (55k miles).
