Best thing to do which I recommend to all 03 and half year 04 clients is replace the radiator assembly on auto trans models. I have not seen one failure outside the VIN range service campaign give by Saab. So far have replaced four transmissions and radiators in 03/04 vehicles which DID have the service campaign competed by Saab. Their fix was a band aid, not a permanent fix in my opinion.
In the end if you dont replace the radiator and it takes out the transmission, you will end up having to replace it anyway once its leaking. Senseless not to replace it proactively in my opinion.
