Anyone ever re-skin recent convertible seats?? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 22 Jul 2013 03:35:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am still on my quest for a summer fun car and I am considering a local '08 9-3 2.0T CV with automatic.
Car has been detailed inside and out (including engine compartment) then stored. so I am not certain how amenable the owner will be to a test drive.
The car is white with a black top (why not blue?) and the parchment interior. My wife's car has the parchment interior and I have no complaints other than it think this color with the white exterior is horribly bland when the top is down.
The Aero models for that year had charcoal and parchment interiors, with either color as the dominant shade. Any chance of finding a set of those new or used?
I checked the SaabStuff web site, which used to sell full interiors for the C900 and other models, but it appears they are out of business and someone else now owns the URL.
Other good sources for new seat skins, other than custom? If custom I was thinking of replacing only the center seating surfaces with a perforated charcoal leather and keeping the parchment bolsters and sides.
