It's probably fair to a little bit high but it is a dealer which do have higher prices than a smaller independent shop.
Price of valves alone can vary a lot since the suggested retail price of each intake valve is $55.00 and it takes 8 of them. It is other sources for valves out there but a dealer will only use genuine ones.
Even though the engine is a GM derivd engine it takes a couple of Saab specific special tools to hold the camshafts in place that most likely no general repair shops will have even though they might work on the GM side of the same engine and without those tools, the camshafts will not be lined up correctly again.
So unless you have an Saab independent shop nearby that could tweak the price somewhat, you might have to go with what they offer.
