It is time more than difficulty.
I have done it on a couple of 900s.
I cant be that much different.
Take the seat out (i think you need an e-torque for the seatbelt)
Disconnect the big power plug under seat
then start pulling the leather down and releasing the gutter type plastic things around the perimeter of the seat bottom.
There is usually a metal bar under the leather that defines the seams (parallel to length of car)
to remove/free-up these you need to pull down on some clips/hook type things (sort of like the hooks that hold a Christmas tree ornament on a tree) they are located under the seat bottom and attach to the metal bars.
I made a hook type tool that had a "T" handle on one end and a hook on the other for this. I made it out of a coat hanger. It reminds me of the tool people use to tighten their ice skate laces.
If you encounter rings holding things you can cut them and replace them with zip ties.
I'm sure there is a video or write up about this somewhere online
