Well, it does not get easier when I ask a question and you counter with another question.
What does the product/chassis plate read on YOUR car?
It seems that the VIN is not enough for me unless the chassis # I wrote in the earlier post is also the way it is listed on your car. If, so it doesn't make sense except what Bernie said that the chassis plate on an 05 might not be correct.
And if the chassis plate on the car is not correct, should it be read backwards or forwards or should the numbers be taken randomly and fit in where you hope they will fit.
If we play with the scenario based on the chassis numbers I listed and if we "assume" the the 15 lists the strut instead of the spring, then your strut would be p/n 12756505/06 (4D with sport chassis) both superseded to 93190092 which would be an 07-10 4/5D B207 with sport chassis.
If we then play with the assumption that 7 is your front spring code and that your spring is Blue/Tan, that would be p/n 12786394 superseded to 93190609 which is a spring kit that fit a 07-10 9-3 4/5D B207 Auto with lowered sport chassis.
So if you ask me, I think that's as close as we can come unless your chassis plate say something different that would help.
