Ufortunately, anything and everything or nothing Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Wed, 5 Feb 2014 08:13:12 In Reply to: Mileage, what to expect at 180k, SaabProb, Mon, 3 Feb 2014 17:33:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
At that mileage, most wear items has reached their normal end lifespan which in most cases are about 100K plus or minus spread.
So it pretty much comes down to what has been replaced already and if the car comes with receipts.
If the seller say that this car has been the best ever and nothing has gone wrong, it is a lot of things that could come due in short order like fuel pump, alternator, water pump, radiator, window regulators, balance chain guides, A/C condenser, clutch, etc.
But it could be 10, 20, 30K mile intervals between all of those items. It's just impossible to say at that mileage.
You should have the car checked out before and also go through the repair invoice and see what and when things were replaced.
