You might still have a valve issue based on that you say it has started up rough and smooth out since November but for that to turn into a no start suddenly, it takes more.
So if your compression at cold has been down due to the valve issue already, just one cold start with no fire up could be enough to also wash the remaining compression away and that coupled with slow cranking from a weak battery.
So I would start with a couple of squirts of oil in each cylinder, new fresh battery or at least fully charged, crank over the engine with plugs out, another squirt of oil and install new spark plugs and then crank over the engine and keep cranking when and if it starts to fire up and keep cranking until the engine is running and give it gas at the same time to keep it running.
It takes a good battery to do this since you don't want the cranking speed to slow down.
