So I recently replaced my front left wheel bearing. Only tightened the spindle nut to 90 ft-lbs. Started hearing a loud grinding noise at low speed. After a little research I found out the correct torque spec for the spindle nut is 214 ft-lbs...Will I be alright to just torque to correct spec now? Or is damage to the new wheel bearing guaranteed? I will be inspecting tonight. Any thoughts? And can someone confirm the torque spec? I have probably driven around 70 miles total since the repair with the spindle nut loose...
