Todd, been there and got the t shirt. On my 2009 9-3 had the same type of problem as David, as far as the heat & cold in Pa. Very e-z job to do, just take your time. I started out taking a plastic putty knife around the top and both sides to loosen and remove the trim that was there. Next ,cleaned the window to remove the grime, and any loose pieces of trim (the rubber part was just falling away, breaking into small pieces) Next, was to coat the inside channel of the new trim with a spray on silicone(it helps with installing the trim. Yes, it maybe a little messy, but it cleans up very E-Z. I laid the trim on the window to center it, and started to install it from the top down, to keep it working well I just sprayed small amounts of the silicone spray as needed. The trim basically has three parts with a metal insert, one for the top and then one for each side, with corners just made of the rubber material. You must take it E-Z installing it so you don't rip the soft rubber corners, also as your pushing the trim against the window, it has a soft side lip that needs to be sitting on top, so when you are finished it doesn't dip down between the window glass and the body of the car, it needs to sit on top, so it acts as a top seal. Clean-up the extra spray and you are done. Ken
