Our ‘06 2.0 has a little more than 170k mi on it. We learned last fall that it’s not uncommon for the engine ECU to fail on the 2.0 motors, as it sits right near the engine. Ours went bad, and once we committed to the repair bill to replace the ECU we decided to plan to take the car to at least 275k, which our factory trained Saab mechanic (now Indy) said was quite doable. We replaced the suspension late last year, and will likely put in a new clutch before the year is out. Once we hit 200k I will likely do some major maintenance, water pump, alternator, timing chain, etc.
