Same advice. Knowing when to quit is a very useful skill. Significant collision damage is a huge red flag.
You could throw a lot of time, effort and money at this and still not get it running right.
There are plenty of saabs of that vintage available in decent running condition. Then at least you know what you have.
I'm no expert but that is my take.
