Wiring for Locking fuel filler door on 2010 2.0T? Posted by Ari [Email] (#2847) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ari) on Sun, 27 Jun 2021 08:32:27 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My 2010 2.0Ts (both of them...) came without the lockable fuel filler door option. They both have the bracket on which the solenoid could be mounted, the hole in the filler door for the pin to go through, etc., and the solenoid is not a very expensive part, so I'd be interested in installing the solenoids (and telling the cars via Tech2 that they have lockable filler doors installed). But digging around semi-blindly behind the quarterpanel after pulling the trunk liner aside, I can't find the electrical connector into which I'd plug them in. Do the 2010 cars' wiring harness not have that connector? Or is it neatly hidden somewhere?
Thanks!
