It is always annoying when you start a job but are not able to finish it!
Do not think there is anything especially Saab about this and it is probably the same as all the other GM vehicles that use the engine, so any competent mechanic should be able to do it. Tech2 should not be needed if it is a simple swap. Obviously if there is damage to the flywheel ring gear you would have a much bigger problem.
Alternative approach is to take a look at the bolt and see what type of socket/extension/wrench it would take to get to it and just buy that in decent quality, so you have the right tool for the job.
The real experts here may have a trick for getting to it too and as always it is worth reading the WIS on it to see if it calls out anything special. This video is pretty helpful - looks unpleasant. The trick for getting it back in is funny.
