Brian,
You can try slaving in a donor door, by connecting an electrical connector at door jamb. see img... to see if it works and there are no B codes related to the door.
Furthermore, as per WIS, there is a window control module 702FL with two connectors inside the door that would probably have to be programmed for your vehicle. To avoid it and possible faults with donor door electronics and wiring, YES you would have to swap everything over.
