2003/4 9-3 SS uses a offset of ET41 -- older 9-3 and 9-5 use a offset of ET49.
if a ET49 is used on a car designed for a ET41 the scrub radius (and the handling) would be effected
if a wheel of ET41 is installed on the older 9-3 and 9-5's the wheel will be 8 mm closer to the fender.
i read somewhere the 2003/2004 L300 saturn's use the 1999-2002 Saab 9-3SE and 9-5 16" alloys as factory wheels
the cadillac catera shares the same bolt pattern (5 X 110 mm) -- don't know about the offset.
