i'm assuming its out of warranty, correct?
have a '00 with 45K for about 6 months -- check for oil leaks
there are several TSB's to fix this
if there are service records check for filter replacement (cabin, and air)
and if the ignition cassette has been replaced (hopefully with the newest revision)
note any unusual noises that could indicate a engine/tranmission mount failure (pretty expensive replacement)
verify p/s fluid and transmission fluid levels
using synthetic oil is vital for the turbo -- shouldn't be any blue smoke (indicating bad turbo seals)
my a/c compressor just seized and it will be about $1200 to fix -- don't get much warning on this so be suspicious of any noises from the compressor...
