Interesting, makes sense, and your estimate for parts is in line with what the saab dealership here estimated. As for the warranty, apparently saab's requirements are stringent to qualify, but I'm not sure what they are, but from what the service writer told me was evidence of every service interval performed within 2000 miles of recommended mileage and so on, I guess the guy that has the car missed one service and was disqualified, but I wonder if the dealer has an agenda here.
