Regarding torque: The disadvantage of first using a regular lug wrench is that if you tighten the bolts past the proper setting with the lug wrench, you have no practical way of knowing it. It is just as easy to use the torque wrench to do all of the tightening, and you will eliminate the problem. I usually tighten the bolts with about half the required force with the wheel in the air, then lower it to the ground and do the final torque setting by skipping every other nut going arounsd the circle until all bolts have been tightened. The proper setting for the wheels is between 75 and 80 lb.ft. An inexpensive torque wrench should run $25-30 dollars in an auto parts store. Be sure to back the torque setting out to zero when finished with the wrench. Do not leave it set at the value that you used to tighten the wheels.
