The turbo gauge reading is calculated by the Trionic engine control - it isn't a direct measurement. In the old days, this would be a vacuum leak. Not now.
Two things come to mind - a bad temperature sensor, or an adjustment needed. If the intake air temp sensor is off, the mass/air calculation would be wrong. The engine would be running a bit rich, which you probably wouldn't notice. If this continues, I'd take a swing by the dealership. How was the engine idle speed? Was it substantially above 1000 rpm? If so, it could just be the Engine control, and high idle would result in a higher gauge reading. But at a normal idle, it should read on the low side of the green.
That gauge is electronic, and can be adjusted by the Tech II. If the problem goes away, it might have been 'just one of those things.' If it persists, I'd pull the spark plugs and see if you're running rich or lean - it could be the sign a sensor is starting to fail. The CEL only comes on when the engine is out of emissions spec, so you might not be at that point, yet.
