Sorry, misunderstood. Some cars will flicker the oil light as they start up (crank).
From what I can tell, the oil pressure sender is bolted to the front (radiator side) of the block, closer to the belt side than the transmission side of the engine. It should just be a wire that clips onto the sensor. First, make sure the wire is connected - if it's hanging free, you'd get no light. If the wire is in place, slip it off the sensor, and touch it to chassis ground while you turn the key to ON. The light should come on. If it doesn't, then it could be a failed wire, but most likely a bad bulb.
If you touch the wire to ground and the bulb lights (key ON), then I'd say it's a bad oil pressure sensor.
The most likely failure is something knocked the wire off the sensor during the oil change, and it's hanging free.
