The damage/repair shouldn't influence the lease return if repaired properly even if there's slight evidence of the repair. I had the same thing happen on an '02 Aero wagon but not as severe...a rear ending that pushed the bumper up a bit, compromised the spare tire well slightly and made the tailgate harder to shut (it still worked). All fixed and no problems with the return. They had to reposition the tailgate locking structure, repaired the well and entire bumper structure. I'm in DC, and I used a Jaguar repair place in Fairfax (can't recall the name). But I think there are some decent shops on Rte. 1 in the Potomac Yards area that are very good -- Wagonworks may be one. A lot of high end cars in their lot. First Choice Auto Body in Arlington as well is good, although they normally handle BMW, Porsche and Audi. Ask International Motors, perhaps, if that's where you bought the car. They used a facility in Falls Church somewhere when my front turn indicator came loose (a known problem with the clips on '02s) and scratched the bumper, fender and hood while flapping around at 60 mph. Couldn't tell that they painted.
Good luck and sorry for your misfortune. It will all work out.
