First of all, the seats in all Saab cars are produced by Lear Corporation who have also supported Saab at the development of the seats.
About different seat versions, the Aero sport seat is not avalible as ventilated in any market. Saab do not produce that version of seat!
Deliverytimes!
You got all that wrong.
All the cars on the line is ordered by an importer somewhere. When the carbody goes from the bodyshop onto the assembly line the order for seats goes to Lear.
The seats are delivered only about half a day later.
For the US the importer orders "stock cars" with the specification he thinks his customers will buy.
In Europe Saab does not build your car until you have placed the order and then it will take app. 10 weeks to have you new Saab delivered.
An average US customer will not wait 10weeks+shipment over the ocean.
That is way you have to buy "stock cars".
The only seatversion that we have in Europe that is not availble in the US is manually adjusted front seats.
Nothing to miss really.
