It does not require any legnth of time. When your sitting at a light, check the recurlation icon on acc. Make sure it's on when stoped and the icon should go off shortly after vehicle speed increases. To turn the function off, press and hold the recurlation button again on ACC until the message appears on SID(recurl normal). You can set the A/C low temp control the same way. Press the AUTO button on ACC until the message appears on (acc low temp ctrl). This limmits the a/c compressor form activating below a certin temp. Turn it off the same way.
