If you're serious about buying the car you might consider doing the following.
1) change the oil and filter....see if there is any water in it. Give away the oil change if there is.
2) look under the rugs (front and rear) for signs of water damage
3) look under spare in trunk for signs of water damage
4) don't be dissuaded by rust on the rotors...it's normal
5) does the car have a musty smell?
6) are the rugs new? why?
7) take a wheel(s) off...if water/wetness is present behind the cap in the center of the wheel...why?
8) run the cabin ventilation fan at high speed...the air coming out should not smell like a swamp
9) remove the trunk floor over the gas tank....look for signs of water damage
