Updated air intake installed & other stuff

Just installed the updated (larger) air intake. Easy job - remove the splash panel under the bumper (4 screws, 4 bolts). Remove the grille (2 plastic fasteners). Remove top bolt of old intake (between horns). Remove hose clamp at airbox. R&R air intake. The cross sectional area of the new one is about twice as large as the original. My wife drove and asked me what I did to the car... she noticed the difference in power - mostly seems that boost comes on faster but someone should really dyno this some time.
Of course, while I was there I found a transmission oil leak, a broken plastic panel, and a broken fog light mount. More work for me. Also changed transmission oil twice - it's easier than changing engine oil, and the old oil was pretty "purple" looking after 60k miles.
Trying to buy a new set of summer tires. Avon Tech M500 no longer available in Canada (Tire Rack only, local dealers tell me.) General Exclaim UHP N/A in 215-55R16 yet. Guess I wait.
