Is the precise quote from the auction. You never know what the real story is, notice how the ONLY mention they make of mechanical condition is 'I tried everything and it works.' Nothing saying 'no accidents' or 'no leaks' or 'inspected' or 'not a flood car'. They don't even encourage a carfax. Everybody on ebay encourages a carfax...except this guy.
Maybe they got a good auction price and make a fixed profit moving the car ASAP. Or, it's got huge problems. Notice the interior is pretty beaten up but the exterior, save for three scratches on the rear bumper, is utterly pristine.
On the other hand, I got '00 my Aero in '03 for $4K under the lowest wholesale price (less than half KBB retail at the time) though an Ebay seller. It had a bad shock and a dodgy SID but otherwise has been pretty solid for the last 50K (110K now).
The same model, save for having only 57K, sold for almost twice as much on a Completed Auctions search and a blue non-Aero also sold for more. Buyer Beware!
