We just traded in our 2000 9-5 for the new 06 9-5. Our car had 98,000 miles or 160 KM's. The car was very reliable and never left us stranded or needed any major work. I was just looking through service records before trade-in and we replaced tires, brakes, rear suspension(for comfort around 85,000), serpentine belt, a/c recharge, tune up(replaced DI Cassette with it, just in case from reading forums) and a few bulbs. But we maintained the car perfectly. Mobil 1 oil every 4,500 miles, we even had the stupid fuel flush services and all the other stuff that saab recommends. But we had no major problems and we plan to do the same with our 06. FYI... even though some interior changes aren't the best, the 06 is great. Suspension is awesome, seats more comfy, and the engine/tranny is much smoother.
