Lou, my heater control lights are out, BUT they both heat just fine (front) don't know about the back as I haven't sat back there yet! It must be the bulbs, but it seems odd that they both are out? As far as tire sizes, the first tire listed in the manual says 205/60/15, then 215/55/16 which are on the car now, and 195/65/15 for snows! My tire question is from obsesive desire for higher MPG! My wife and I drive Volvos (I did once own an early 70's "99" which I loved!!!!! I drive a '00 S40 and have got my highway milage up tp 39.5 - 40.3 at a constant 60 mph with 39 psi, synthetic oil/atf, a light foot and coasting where safely feasible....any way you see where I'm heading...got the car for my teenage daughter as it was a great buy (used) and a great safe car....for her or anyone! She hates the boxy 850's so this was an excellant alternative! Bill
