....when I left for my M, the price was firmish. I feel sorry for those who bought through the year. Remember GM wasn't going to do "deep" discounts anymore. Pity the "fools' who believed them. I guess that's me...
My big question is how long can this possibly go on? I have 2 excellent cars neither of which has ever been discounted from the factory. Both are from smaller little known brands. Both have very high residual value. Does it make sense to discount a car with a 6% mark-up over 25% when your "loyal" customers have paid nearly full boat?? Either GM is insane, or the end is very near.
With Saturn now maketing the same or very similar Opels at very reasonable prices, I'm afraid it's the latter.
