I have a 2000 Aero (auto) and so far so good, i'm (well my family and I) are considering getting someone to take over our lease for the remaining year and a half and getting a 2002 Aero. If i can, i'll probably post a classified ad for it or something in the near future. We had a faulty rear view mirror (the self dimming one) that kinda turned a nasty yellow color and never changed. We fixed it under warranty though. Other than that its pretty much been trouble free other than a loose bolt that holds the thing on the door that holds it open, so that was clicking when closing the door, once again, tightened for free under warranty. The aero is a wonderful car, and you will get a HUGE rush when your floor it, even when flooring the auto from 50, it just starts charging really fast, i have taken mustang gt's on the highway (never tried from a stand still) so you will most likely be very happy with the performance. IMO, you can't go wrong with the aero.
