This is a relatively common problem. We had the same symptoms in our 2001 9.5 Aero SW. Final solution was replace the neutral position switch. But, I did that only after a fairly extensive diagnosis. Others have just "thrown" parts at the problem, a more expensive approach. Suggest you read my "no crank updates" from 1 through about 14/15. I was expertly guided by SWEDECAR in a step-by-step diagnosis to isolate the problem and rule out other possible causes. Good Luck.
