Rookie: A couple of points. The Aero came out in the 9-5 in 2000. I do not think there were any 1999 models. Even though there was no "visible" Damage, it is possible that there was major damage that has been repaired,but the resale value of the car would be permanantly lowered,especially if it is from something like fire damage etc.
$14,000 is lower than the wholesale value on just about any 9-5 out there. Something is definitely wrong here. Have the owner attest to the history of the car.
Lastly,hate to sound negative,but always remember,15,000 miles could also be put on a quarter of a mile at a time! This car sounds like something is wrong. Check it out carefully.
