I have the Dunlop Sp Sport 5000 Asymmetric on my 1998 900SET. The tires are generally very good, but have compromises like all tires, especially all-season tires. The Dunlop Sport 5000 cornering and steering response are slightly less than desired, but snow traction is very good. The tires ride well and are pretty quiet.
The brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S apears to have very good cornering and steering response, but is generally too new for a good comparison. The Michelins are also quite expensive and availabale in limits sizes at this time.
I decided against the Yokohama AVS dB because I was willing to have better snow traction at the loss of some cornering and steering response. Time will tell if I chose correctly.
