First of all, what I said applies to the NG900/9-3. The buttons to program the settings are probably different on the 9-5. Press whatever two buttons that the manual says...
I know it'll work on the 9-5 too because someone else tried it successfully. When you go to turn on the system toggle it on with the OFF button. If you press Auto it will revert to full auto settings.
One last thing... You may want to clear any previous stored settings before programming new ones. The two buttons to press in order to do that are also explained in the manual.
