Careful, you might get what you wish for.
I drive a 2008 9-3, and I wish I could disconnect "headlight on" indicator on my dash. It is on all the time, even when the night panel is engaged.
My car has xenons, and the headlight switch can be set so that the xenons only come on when it is dark (nighttime, when you are in a tunnel, etc.) with separate daytime running lights on when the xenons are off. So it might make sense if the indicator was on only when the xenons were on. But no! The damn indicator is on all the time. And it is meaningless because it is on all the time.
