Slow coolant loss changed.

I've posted before on a slow coolant loss that two SAAB Dealer's have yet to solve. I keep the coolant tank full by adding about once a month. This past weekend we ran lots of errands which constituted in lots of starts and stops. When I came out the next day to drive to car, the SID had a fill coolant message. Checked the tank and it barely had any in it. Oil looks OK besides black (3,000 miles). Does this sound like a heater control valve? I don't see any signs of coolant leakage in the engine compartment or on the driveway. Thanks again.
