Looked at it today and it seems to be in pretty good shape. Mileage is correct and all service records are there. No apparent problems that I could see. Assuming that you were looking for a good one, then it would be one to look at futher. Nice cars, I liked it.
That said, unfortunately I'm not the one who would be buying it and I'm afraid that as far as maintenance and repairs that it's basically going to be like most of the 5 Series BMWs that I've had. Just too much potential "stuff" than I want her to have to deal with on her own.
I'm of the Toyota/Subaru/Honda mind too but apparently so is everyone else and it's been a lot harder to find one in good shape at a fair price than I'd hoped. You'd think Toyota badges were made of solid gold with the prices some want for the most beat up 200K pieces of junk that you've ever seen. She has an older Corolla now, but I'd like to see her get into something a little more substantial. Great cars that will run forever despite best efforts to kill them, but they are kinda tinny.
In any case, thanks for the help! Appreciate it.
