I recently completed a 16+ hour round trip from CT to Buffalo, NY with wife and 2 kids in the 9-5 wagon - during xmas -- so we hit the 7 feet of snow. First - the car (with snow tires) was fine in the snow - and i mean deep snow. (i'm from Buffalo and know what winter driving is about!)
I found the car to be extremely comfortable - seats are supportive, tire noise wasn't bad (since I didn't have the stock michelins - had Dunlop Wintersports which are surprisingly quieter...). Handling was great on the open road - the car feels very slow when you drive 65mph, it really wants to be driven at 75-85mph - at that speed the car feels like it's on rails.
I averaged 70mph and was getting 30.2 mpg. Not bad.
Only thing I would change would be better cupholders, and some type of entertainment system in back seat for kids.
